Well I spent the day in bed yesterday feeling very sorry for myself with an awful sore throat, temperature and aching limbs. It did allow me to finish The Woman in White though who was very good company, I shall be posting the review on November 8th as I read the book as part of Simon's Sensation Season over at Savidge Reads and I really had not expected to have finished it already.
I am going to read something a little lighter next, The Book of Tomorrow by Cecilia Ahern, I am so excited about this as I have loved all of her books and I am hoping that this one does not disappoint!

I hope you feel better soon, Dot! I can't wait to read your review on The Woman in White!
Sorry you are feeling poorly, but those books sounds like good company. Hope you have the heating turned up and plenty of hot chocolate to hand...
Melody and Verity- thank you! I have spent the day wrapped in a big, warm blanket reading a lovely book and I'm feeling a lot better than yesterday!
Take it easy, Dot and enjoy the rest (and the reading opportunity). I'm almost at the end of The Woman in White (about 80pages to go). I won't comment here but I'll be in touch......don't forget to put a drop of something warming in that hot chocolate ;0)
Glad to hear you are feeling a little better - being sick is never fun. I'm looking forward to hearing what you think about the new C A book. I have only read one of hers (I think it was the latest one with someone who had memory loss???) and I really did not like it so I have not picked up another one of hers.
Hey, sorry o hear you've been ill - glad you're on the mend! I want to read most of these books as well! We'll have to compare reviews lol! x
It seems everyone is talking about this book. I can't wait to read your review, once you are feeling well enough to write it; take care
Thanks for all your lovely comments! Still not feeling great but hoping to be back to normal blogging activity in a few days! xx
Wowsers you read that quick! Are you all better now, there seems to be something wicked and throaty going around!
Simon- Not feeling 100% but much better than I was! It's definitely making the rounds, everyone that I know is ill!
