My name is Dot, I am 37 years old and I live in Leicestershire with my husband and our dogs Alfie and Billy. I have always loved reading from an early age and I don't think that will ever change. I started this blog nearly seven years ago now as I always wrote reviews and wanted to keep them all in one place. However, book blogging has opened up a whole new world to me; it is great to share opinions with other readers and learn about books or genres that I may have been missing out on.

My taste in books varies greatly, I love the classics, chick-lit, crime, thriller, horror, young adult, speculative, fantasy, romance, historical fiction etc etc. I am always prepared to try new genres and I have been pleasantly surprised on many occasions!
