If you could ask your favorite author (alive or dead) one question … who would you ask, and what would the question be?
My favourite author is Daphne Du Maurier and I would ask her if the character of Mrs Danvers definitely dies in the fire at the end of Rebecca. I'm sure she does but she's such a sinister character and it makes me shiver sometimes to think that she could pop up again!
What would you ask your favourite author?

I have never read anything by Daphne Du Maurier. But what you ask is sort of a spoiler isn't it ;)
I have 3 authors to ask :)
Novroz- Hadn't really thought of it like that, it's kind of at the beginning and end of the book though!
Intriguing! She's probably my favourite author too but I don't know what I'd want to ask her.
Verity- I was very disciplined to only out one question down, I have a big, big list!!
I love Daphne DuMaurier! Perhaps you could also ask her what the name is of the narrator? But then I suppose not having one is part of the mystery.
novelinsights- It does add to the air of mystery doesn't it!
Good idea! I'd like to ask a few writers to settle questions like that.
OH I Realllllly need to read Rebecca AGAIN!!
Loved it.
Wish I had more time to read it.
The BTT post is here at The Burton Review!
Amy- It would be good to get the answers to questions like that wouldn't it!
Marie- I think I might re-read it again soon! It's my favourite book.
Good question - I haven't read Rebecca but it's high on my tbr list.
Cystal- I can highly recommend it, it's such a good book!

It does feel that way. Mrs Danver might come out again, sometime to torment us!
Booking Through Questioning the Bard
Ooooh good question Dot, we would have to share Daphen, but I think us two Daphne and some tea and cake would be a fabulous afternoon!
I've never read on of her books. I think I might look some up.
I couldn't come up with a single question for this week's post. See why here.
Simon- that would be a lovely afternoon, we could ply her with cake and ask her our many questions!!
Vicki- Her books are so good, you should definitley give one a try, Rebecca is my favourite and My Cousin Rachel is a close second!
Good question, Dot!
SPOILER to follow!
I would ask Daphne du Maurier if Rachel (from My Cousin Rachel) was really guilty of murder or not.....I couldn't work that out from reading the book.
