Booking Through Thursday: One Question

If you could ask your favorite author (alive or dead) one question … who would you ask, and what would the question be?

My favourite author is Daphne Du Maurier and I would ask her if the character of Mrs Danvers definitely dies in the fire at the end of Rebecca. I'm sure she does but she's such a sinister character and it makes me shiver sometimes to think that she could pop up again!
What would you ask your favourite author?

I have never read anything by Daphne Du Maurier. But what you ask is sort of a spoiler isn't it ;)

I have 3 authors to ask :)

Novroz- Hadn't really thought of it like that, it's kind of at the beginning and end of the book though!

Intriguing! She's probably my favourite author too but I don't know what I'd want to ask her.

Verity- I was very disciplined to only out one question down, I have a big, big list!!

I love Daphne DuMaurier! Perhaps you could also ask her what the name is of the narrator? But then I suppose not having one is part of the mystery.

novelinsights- It does add to the air of mystery doesn't it!

Good idea! I'd like to ask a few writers to settle questions like that.

It does feel that way. Mrs Danver might come out again, sometime to torment us!

Good question, Dot!

SPOILER to follow!

I would ask Daphne du Maurier if Rachel (from My Cousin Rachel) was really guilty of murder or not.....I couldn't work that out from reading the book.
