I managed 51 and only partially read one of those so perhaps you could say 50.
I'm with Karen on The Book Thief as it was my favourite read of 2009but I also loved GLPPPS by Mary Ann Shaffer, which came in a very close second and then in joint third Beyond Black by Hilary Mantell and My Cousin Rachel by Daphne du Maurier. All of the stories and characters are still very clearly fixed in my mind.
So 2010 should be a great reading year as I already have a glorious TBR pile and that is without all the fab titles I will be hunting for from my wish list.
I have really enjoyed your reviews, Dot and thank you for introducing me to The Book Thief and Daphne du Maurier's Rebecca, both of which I read because you made them sound so special.Kimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15481459014830218246noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7731368674126403329.post-59375601417869179862009-12-31T21:46:02.580+00:002009-12-31T21:46:02.580+00:00Some great reading Dot!
